
Fiona graduated from NUI Maynooth before moving to London to study for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of London. Fiona has also completed a Masters in Educational Leadership with the University of Warwick. Fiona worked in Sarah Bonnell School in London for 11 years undertaking a number of different roles such as Learning for Life Co-ordinator, Deputy KS3 Progress Leader, Curriculum Leader of Geography, Curriculum Leader of Humanities and Assistant Head teacher.
In 2014, Fiona was awarded the U.K Pearson Prize for Pupil Impact Award, which is awarded to an educational leader who has shown outstanding commitment and
made the greatest impact on pupil achievement. Fiona joined us from Griffeen Community College where she held the position of Deputy Principal. Fiona held the position of Deputy Principal from 2019 – 2021.
