Grainne Buckley

Grainne was born in Dublin. After completing her leaving cert she moved to Germany where she lived and worked for 13 years. On returning to Ireland in 2006 she attended Killester College where she qualified as a special needs assistant.  For the last 14 years Grainne has worked in a Dublin City DEIS Secondary School supporting students with various additional needs such as ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Behavioural & Emotional needs.  As part of her own continued professional development she has completed the following Diplomas online: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Conflict Management with Emotional Intelligence, Sports Psychology & Modern Applied Psychology. 

“I have a passion for all things Sport especially soccer. I coordinate the girls section in my local club, coach the 2011 team, am liaison officer with the FAI development team and league secretary for the girls teams. I currently hold a National D Licence.  I’m excited to be a part of the Belmayne ETSS team and looking forward to supporting all students in the whole school community. “
