Tracy studied English Literature and Language at Salford University in 1999 and relocated to
Ireland. She has since completed the Professional Master of Education course at University
City Dublin and Special & Inclusive Education course at Dublin City University. Tracy has
several years experience working in post-primary schools as an English, CSPE and Special
Education teacher. Most recently, she worked as an SEN Link teacher with responsibility for
first-year students as part of a large Additional Educational Needs Team. Due to a keen interest
and experience in dramatic performance, Tracy has also taught Performing Arts and has
directed several school plays. Further interests include fitness and student well-being, which
has led to involvement in post-primary well-being committees.
